Interpretata da Boris Karloff, la serie si ispira a reali eventi soprannaturali mai spiegati dalla scienza. Lo stesso Karloff introduce ciascun episodio: " Buona sera. Stanotte, squarcerò il velo su un'altra insolita storia del soprannaturale." Realizzata nel 1958 dagli Hal Roach Studios, non andò mai in onda, nonostante fossero stati ultimati undici eccezionali episodi.
